Orbit 3D collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, no telemetry, and no network code of its own. Everything you make stays in files you choose to save, and the app reads and writes only the files and folders you open, save, or drop onto it.
The full version is a one-time purchase made through the Mac App Store. Apple handles the payment, the receipt, and any refund, under Apple’s own privacy policy. Orbit 3D asks the App Store whether the purchase exists and receives a yes or a no. It never sees your name, your Apple Account, or your payment details.
The app keeps a small activity log on your Mac, capped at 10 megabytes, to help diagnose problems. It records what the app did, including scene and object names, and never file locations, your user name, or anything else about you. If the app crashes, a short record of the crash stays on your Mac beside the log. Nothing in either leaves your Mac unless you choose to export the diagnostics bundle and send it to us, and that bundle removes your home folder path before it is written.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Its pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so when you open a page, your browser requests the fonts from Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address and the usual details a browser sends with any request. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
If you email us, we receive your address and what you wrote, and we use them only to reply. We do not add you to lists or share your address with anyone.
If any of this changes, this page changes first, with a new effective date.
